Our preventive check-ups are designed to support your child’s healthy growth and development.
From infancy to U9, we combine thorough physical exams with playful developmental checks and offer guidance on health, nutrition, and learning.
For U10 and U11, we focus on social skills, concentration, learning, media use, and update vaccinations.
During adolescent check-ups (J1 and J2), we provide a private, supportive space to discuss puberty, HPV vaccination, sexuality, addiction prevention, and mental health — with or without parents, according to your child’s wishes.

Information on preventive check-ups for children and adolescents
Not all statutory health insurance companies cover the U10, U11, or J2 check-ups. Please check with your health insurance provider in advance.
We also offer these examinations as optional IGeL services for our patients upon request.
Helpful information
- Please bring your health insurance card, the yellow check-up booklet and your vaccination card to every check-up
- For U2–U7a: bring a changing mat, spare diaper, and for U7/U7a, the language questionnaire: U7 / U7a
- Around the time of the U3, an ultrasound of the hips must be performed on every infant. You can make an appointment with the orthopedist after your child is born. You will receive the corresponding referral from us.
- For U8–J2: please bring a urine sample no more than 2 hours old.
- Children are welcome to bring a self-painted picture to the U9 check-up.
